About Mindful Tea Ceremony at Oboro

Focusing on “the here and now,” where you can experience the beauty of the tea ceremony through all five senses.

Program Flow

1. Introduction

In the waiting area, the instructor will explain the experience, important points, and the overall flow.

2. Welcome Tea & Sweets

In the adjoining room, you will be served welcome tea and seasonal Japanese sweets.

3. Tea Ceremony

In the innermost room, the instructor will demonstrate the process of preparing matcha. Each participant will be served a bowl of matcha. A Q&A session will follow.
